Production of OS pigments
Our OS pigments conform the requirements of ResAP (2008 )1, the ruling of 21.12.2012 and the new pharmaceutical raw material of Regulation 04 /2013 concerning nickel content.
Each pigment material is tested to possible impurities at independent accredited laboratories. We guarantee that our pigments are blended from high-purity raw materials and produced under vacuum and dispersed and sterilized with gamma rays. We fully spare on the addition of preservatives to exclude allergy carriers. We only use pigments which raw material quality is guaranteed with respect to ResAP (2008)1.
To ensure a consistent quality, we work with a quality assurance system = QS System. They check the recipe. The production of the pigments is documented from purchasing analytics to sale, so that we reach the highest world standard as in the pharmaceutical industry.
Swiss Color® OS pigments do not contain iron oxides, hazardous AZO dyes, no PAH, no banned heavy metals, hazardous aromatic amine including NDELA!
PAH = polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are carcinogenic and can occur in black permanent make up pigments from other manufacturers. We use only high-quality carbon black, which is free of PAHs.
Nitrosodiethanolamine (NDELA) was first identified by the Swiss authorities as a toxic product of numerous pigment colors, our pigments are free of it.
Our OS pigments are also tested with this method and are in conformity with the BAG Switzerland.
